How Rinse&Go handles your data

Who is responsible

Rinse&Go is the controller for the processing of your data as described below. You can reach us at contact@rinsego.nl or on +31 6 14 65 76 40. Our Dutch Chamber of Commerce number is 92246052.

What data we collect

When you fill in the contact form on this website, we receive the details you enter yourself: name, organisation, email address, phone number if provided, and any notes you include. If you request the brochure by email, we receive only your email address. If you ask a question about the installation on one of the installation manual pages, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if provided, and the question itself. We also keep visitor figures using Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are visited, which link someone arrives through, from which country, on what kind of device, and how quickly the page loaded. Those figures are aggregated and cannot be traced back to a person. No cookie is involved and no profile is built that would let you be followed across websites.

When you submit the form we also see your IP address. We use it only to count how often the same address submits, so that the form cannot be misused to send unsolicited mail. It is stored at Cloudflare for at most one hour and then disappears by itself. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable.

What we use this data for

We use these details solely to contact you about your request, for example to arrange an introduction. The legal basis is the request itself: you ask us to get in touch, and we need your details in order to respond. In law this is the performance of a contract and the steps that precede it. If you would like us to delete your details, let us know and we will.

A question about the installation is used only to answer that question. There too, the legal basis is the question itself.

The email address you enter to receive the brochure is used to send you that brochure and to get in touch with you about what Rinse&Go could do for your organisation. You give explicit consent for this when you request it. It does not put you on a mailing list, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing contact@rinsego.nl.

We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your separate consent, and we do not sell it.

Retention period

We keep your data for at most two years after the last contact, or less if your request has been completed sooner and there is no follow-up. Requests reach us as email. We review that mailbox once a year and delete anything older than that period. The IP address used for the abuse count falls outside this: it disappears by itself after an hour.

Who we share data with

To get your request to us, the form is sent by email through Resend, a service that handles only that delivery. That email arrives in our business mailbox at Microsoft, which we use for all our email. The website itself runs at Cloudflare, which also collects the visitor figures described above and briefly stores the IP address used for the abuse count. Beyond this we do not share your data with third parties, except where this is necessary to handle your request or where the law requires us to.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. That takes place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This website places no cookies. The visitor figures above work without cookies and without fingerprinting your browser, so no cookie banner is needed. There is no advertising software on the site. Should that change, we will update this statement and ask for your consent beforehand.

Your rights

You have the right to see which data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. To do so, contact us at contact@rinsego.nl.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (opens in a new tab).
